Our Mission

To provide outdoor opportunities for our nation's disabled veterans.

Our Goals

There are 245,000 veterans in Iowa. Roughly 62,000 of those veterans are disabled (including 180 Iowans who were airlifted from Iraq/Afghanistan). Our main goal is to get as many of these veterans as possible out into the field to enjoy outdoor activities, and the simple pleasure of being outdoors with people who understand their special needs. 

Specific goals we have include:

• Organizing outdoor activities
• Development of access including wheelchair trails and all weather blinds
• Upgrading habitat to increase outdoor opportunities
